About Us
Our classes are dedicated to developing young enquiring minds, enabling children to actively recognise and access a computer’s potential.
MouseWizards is a unique learning programme for children from 2.5 to 9 years of age designed to establish skills which will last a lifetime. We promote the development of fundamental mouse and keyboard skills then harness this proficiency to unlock the creative potential of computers.
Owned and run by Jackie Gandhi and Kirsty Flynn, qualified primary school teachers with many years of teaching experience, MouseWizards was launched in 2003 when their children were in Montessori Nursery education. Experience with their own children and the primary school setting made Jackie and Kirsty realise there was a need for specialized computer teaching in Early Years to develop a passion for technology in young children and the skills to use it effectively.
MouseWizard Masters
For Years 1 and 2
In response to parental demand, MouseWizard Masters for school children in Years 1 and 2 was developed in 2005. Parents wanted a computing club which offered structured learning opportunities and progression for their children to continue on their tech journey
Used in Schools
Schools have recognized the level of expertise offered and have asked for help. So in 2013 MouseWizards started to provide whole class teaching for schools wishing to enhance their computing provision.
11+Wizards
To prepare children in Year 4 and 5 for the secondary school transfer test
Jackie Gandhi and Kirsty Flynn also run 11+Wizards to prepare children in Year 4 and 5 for the secondary school transfer test.
Our courses prepare children for the transfer test for Buckinghamshire and Slough Consortium Grammar School entry.
11+ Wizards is run by qualified primary teachers with many years experience both in schools and in private tutoring. Our aim is to equip your child with the necessary skills to prepare for their 11 plus exams (transfer tests) whilst learning in a way that is both enjoyable and motivating.
